Studio Time in Intermedia

Intermedia this evening was full of creative energy and it was a quiet energy that makes the a room hum!! The transfer demo was really inspiring because it allows so much potential for creativity and I kept thinking of Marcel Duchamp, Joesph Cornell and Lenore Tawney because of their exquisite ability to take objects and create evocative and elegant art. I sat by the beeswax all night transferring Rumi poems onto vellum and it was just fantastic. I am going to create a reliquary out of the vellum paper for one of my newly made fetishes. I am excited about this piece because my vision is an installation w/ about 20-40 reliquaries hanging from the ceiling and each one will have a fetish inside.
